Bailey Street Trading Company Selects USCO for Retail Logistics Expertise
HAMDEN, Conn. - November
12, 2002 - USCO Logistics, a leading North American provider of integrated logistics
solutions, has been selected to manage all warehousing and distribution for
The Bombay Company's Bailey Street Trading Company division.
Bailey Street Trading Company,
the wholesale arm of The Bombay Company, markets its products to multiple channels,
including department store chains, furniture and home décor stores, and mail-order
catalogs. USCO was chosen because of its retail logistics expertise. USCO will
receive product in both ocean containers and branch transfers at its Atlanta
facility, warehouse and then distribute directly to Bailey Street Trading Company's
customers.
USCO Logistics has extensive
experience designing and implementing solutions that help some of the world's
best-known retailers meet their unique industry requirements, including seasonal
spikes, forward-buy and store-support challenges.
In addition, for its retail
and other customers, USCO's Customer Transition & Integration team has acquired,
outfitted and operated facilities of up to 500,000 square feet, on a month-to-month

have been deployed from their assigned USCO facilities ensuring fast, efficient
start-ups and implementations.
